This week in the IMC...

This week, students will be in the computer lab working on Ultra Key. Keyboarding is such an important life skill that takes a lot of patience and practice!!! We will spend the next couple of weeks working on the program and typing using both hands to type. I've added the links to some free keyboarding sites on my blog. Have fun using them to practice at home!

November's Word Cloud

UPDATE: Congrats to Reese R. in Bucklin's class and Kate. S in Trefonas's class. They won a book prize for correctly guessing the word cloud. The correct answer is Andrew Clements.

Here's the mystery word cloud for the month of November. Remember to guess by clicking "comments" at the end of this post. Type a sentence with your guess. Type your first name (no last names) then your teacher's name. Then Comment As "Anonymous" and then click submit!  You have until November 30th to guess! Good luck!

Weekly Update

This week will begin our introduction to keyboarding skills through the program, Ultra Key. If you notice, I also have links to some free keyboarding sites in my blog for students to practice this skill at home.

Some students visited the election center this past week and told me why they would make a good president!
